About the presenters:

 

 

Kate Thompson, MLIS, Adult Services Assistant, West Des Moines Public Library, is a librarian and disability advocate who is interested in expanding perspectives around neurological difference.

 

 

 

 

Rachel Bussan, Collection Services Specialist, West Des Moines Public Library, is a librarian and disability advocate who focuses on increasing acceptance of and awareness for neurological differences, with a focus on mental illness and autism.


 

Presented by RISci, the Arkansas Library Association's Reference & Instruction Services community of interest, in partnership with Making Arkansas Libraries Accessible (MaRLA), Arkansas Library Paraprofessionals (ALPs), and the Public Libraries & Trustees community of interest.
