BHS English IV (Ben Ring)
56 Students have self-selected novels for our novel unit, and are researching a related topic. The novels that students are reading include: A Thousand Splendid Suns, Life of Pi, Brave New World, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, and The Poisonwood Bible. I will send a more specific list of topics students are researching--they are still in the process of selecting and narrowing their topics. I will email the assignment list with the topics next week. Ideally, this session will teach them how to use scholarly databases and make them aware of the tremendous resources available at NWACC.
Will need to rotate 3 groups through in 20-25 minute blocks.
