Solving Real-World Problems with Decimals: Mastering the Four Operations and Graphing Calculator tutorial
This hands-on workshop is designed to strengthen students' understanding of decimal operations through practical, real-life problem-solving scenarios. Participants will explore how to confidently add, subtract, multiply, and divide decimals by working through word problems drawn from everyday situations—such as money management, measurement, budgeting, and shopping.
Not familiar with graphing calculators? We will do a brief tutorial for using graphing calculator TI 84 or 84plus. Bring your own calculator or borrow one during the session.
